April Gibson

At Only 23 years of age April Gibson is already a seasoned vocalist with years of performing experience. She has compiled an extensive resume with stage, radio and television credits. She is a regular with Theatre Arts Productions performing in various shows throughout the area as well as on the Michigan Star Clipper Dinner Train in Walled Lake.

April sings a variety of musical styles, covering well-known Broadway show tunes as well as popular artists such as Faith Hill, Jo Dee Messina, The Dixie Chicks, Martina McBride and many others. She has performed at festivals and fairs throughout Michigan, including the Michigan State Fair, Belleville National Strawberry Festival, Blissfield River Raisin Festival, Wayne County Fair, Monroe County Fair and the Festival of Trees at Cobo. She has also performed at the prestigious Carnegie Hall in New York.

April specializes in singing the National Anthem and other patriotic songs. She has sung the anthem for the last five years at the Pontiac Silverdome for crowds of 60-70,000; often with pyrotechnics and national television audiences on ESPN-2 and TNN. She frequently lends her voice for local veterans groups, The March of Dimes, special ceremonies and track events.

Although small in stature, April has a huge voice and stage presence that delights audiences of all ages. She is always willing to work with groups to tailor a show to fit the needs of their event.
